Eloise Nicklin
Occupational Therapist - Vancouver
Eloise feels privileged to be an OT and is passionate about supporting people to get back to meaningful and important things in their lives. Before completing her master’s in Occupational Therapy at UBC, she studied neuropsychology with a focus in acquired brain injury. She has worked in a variety of roles including as a support worker and in studies of dementia. Through those experiences she saw how daily activities can be used as therapy and strongly believes that to find the best solutions, it is crucial to collaborate with clients to leverage their strengths and interests.
Since being an OT, Eloise has provided concussion and persistent pain rehabilitation and has an interest in hand therapy and mental health rehabilitation which developed during her rotations at UBC. Through her experience to date she understands the complexities of treating cognitive, physical and psychosocial challenges and is committed to providing holistic therapy. She is a lifelong learner and excited to continue to expand her knowledge and experiences.
In her free time she enjoys listening to music and cooking but can usually be found skiing, biking or out on the water.
