Our coaches work in partnership with you to help you achieve your goals. They are flexible and can meet you wherever you need them, whether it's at our clinic, virtually, or even in your home.

Under the umbrella of health coaching, we offer both behaviour change and nutrition coaching. Sessions are one-on-one and involve collaborative planning to help you reach and maintain your goals.

WHAT IS CHANGE COACHING?

We’ve created a new professional discipline – behavioural science experts who are trained masters at getting you to change your habits. We call these remarkable clinicians Change Coaches.

With rigorous training in behavioural science, and deep knowledge of scientifically supported behaviour change techniques, our change coaches are uniquely positioned to help build your toolbox with the skills, habits, and self-awareness that contribute towards successful behaviour change.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Your path to change begins with a short discovery call. We connect with you to understand your health history, health-related goals, and any changes that you want to make.

    At your next appointment, you will work collaboratively with your coach to refine targeted areas for change, identify barriers and develop solutions, enhance motivation, and create a personalized action plan for you.

    Regular follow-up is an essential part of health coaching and is tailored to your plan. We encourage frequent touch points (in addition to your scheduled appointments) via email or phone. Research shows that frequent check-ins create momentum, address challenges at an early point, and help you refine your plan in real time. As your journey continues, you and your coach will continue to adjust the frequency and format of follow-up contacts.

    Complimentary Discovery Call: 15 minutes (via phone)

    Initial Visit: 50 minutes

    Subsequent visits: 25 minutes

  • Nutrition coaching at Tall Tree is based on your goals. Following our initial appointment, we develop a plan tailored for you. Your plan may include (but is not at all limited to!):

    Meal prep workshops: 4-hour meal prep workshops in your home. We roll up our sleeves, get cooking and prepare a week full of food. Includes two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinner options, plus snacks.

    In-home nutrition and lifestyle support: weekly or biweekly ongoing nutrition and lifestyle support services in your home.

    Initial Appointment: 50 min

    Follow up: 25 min
