Bev is passionate about a holistic view of rehabilitation; healing one’s self, both inside and out. She focuses on helping clients gain healthy perspectives in order to strengthen bonds and recover both physically and emotionally. It's Bev's goal to help people feel safe, appreciated and whole again.

Bev brings a unique blend of experience and expertise, being both a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Registered Occupational Therapist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in OT and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. and is currently completing a Doctorate in Counseling and Psychotherapy. Bev has level 3 training in Gottman Couples Therapy and works with couples to heal their traumas and challenges, and strengthen their relationship. She is also trained in EMDR, trauma releasing exercises (TRE), Prolonged Exposure and CBT to assist with processing and releasing trauma and encourage clients to reach their full physical and emotional potential.

As a treating therapist, Bev strives to create strong therapeutic relationships in an unbiased, kind and safe way to help clients feel comfortable in sharing their most difficult experiences.

Bev is exceptionally experienced and is especially competent in helping clients who are dealing with some or all of the following:

  • Negative patterns of conflict

  • Confusion about staying within a relationship, job or friendship

  • Understanding the consequences of toxic behaviours

  • Reduction in symptoms related to stress, anxiety, depression and/or PTSD

  • Processing prior Trauma’s and learning to self sooth

  • How to recover from betrayal and loss of trust

  • Improve and increase confidence and self-image

Bev brings an international and diverse background, allowing her to work with clients in an understanding and inclusive manner regardless of culture, gender, religious background or sexual orientation. She takes everyone’s unique perspective into account and work collaboratively when setting goals.

When she is not at work, Bev enjoys spending time with her husband of 37-years and their precious French Bulldog Jack. She loves to cycle, go camping and sit on the patio with her adult sons. She enjoys watching her vegetables and flowers grow, while her husband does all the yard work…
