Monica completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Western University. During the program, Monica was a co-president of an occupational therapy student advocacy group where she enjoyed the opportunity, and challenge, to advocate for the intersection of occupational therapy and technology.

Monica has over five years of experience working with neurodiverse children and two years of experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries. Professional areas of interest include acquired brain injury, concussion management, pediatrics, and hand therapy rehabilitation.

Monica’s positive attitude coupled with her inclusive approach to partnering with clients, motivates her to practice through a lens of curiosity and openness. Rooted in evidence-based practices, Monica strives to uphold the qualities of a lifelong learner so that she can best support the individuals she works with.

Originally from Vancouver, Monica is excited to call Victoria home. Outside of work, Monica cherishes any opportunity she can get to play with dogs! She also enjoys staying active, playing volleyball and tennis, and reading.
